Does EasyGift work with Buy Now buttons?

EasyGift rules cannot work with Shopify's Buy Now button. Shopify has developed the Buy Now button to shorten the the checkout process for a given product. This means any app logic that works on the addition of a product to a cart cannot work as the Shopify skips any logic that could get in the way of slowing this process down.

There are other drawbacks to using a Buy Now button:

• Reduced page speed
• Unable to upsell or cross sell on a given product
• Reduced AOV
