This is a short guide showing you how to add a link for your Customer Returns Portal onto your website. This is using the basic Online Store - Nagivation menu method. If you would like help with custom positioning of the link on your website - please contact us.
If you use Exchange It, the Returns Portal is already active on your website. However, your customers have no way of finding it, because they have no link to it.
To remedy that, we'll guide you through the steps of adding a Returns Portal link to the footer of your website, where customers will easily find it.
First, go to your Exchange It homepage by clicking on “apps” and then selecting Exchange It:
Once you’ve reached the homepage, copy the Return Portal link, circled in the image below:
Now we’re going to place it in the footer of your website.
First, go to the Online Store tab:
And from there, to the "Navigation" sub-tab:
Once on that page, click the “Footer menu” link:
From the footer menu page, click “+ Add menu item”, circled below:
In the little popped-up section on your right, you will now:
Do not forget to confirm it by clicking “Add” (1/2)…
…and save your newly added footer link by clicking “Save” (2/2)
Your Customer-facing Returns Portal is now accessible from your website!
